One of the coolest things about the Internet is the free exchange of information it allows. Anyone, anywhere, at any time can share nearly anything they’d like using any of a half dozen accessible mediums. Many have predicted that education will soon be mostly done online. Enter the Khan Academy.
The Khan Academy is a non-profit site with the mission of providing a world-class education to anyone, anywhere, anytime. Originally created by Salman Khan as a math tutor site, it’s grown very quickly to include user-paced courses in various forms of mathematics (from Algebra to advanced Physics), Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, and more.
Even collegiate-level non-academics courses such as Valuation and Investing and Venture Capital are covered. You can also learn languages from people who speak them naturally.
Basically, if it’s something to be learned, you can probably find courses for it at the Khan Academy. All for free.
This, friends, is what the Internet was made for.
