Driving farming profits through technology

In keeping with Plattsmouth Rotary Club’s Farmer Day 2017, two representatives from AgriVision’s Pacific Junction store talked about how technology is a driving force in today’s farming operations.

Jared Clevenger, a farm solution specialist, and Bobby Loder, manager of the Pacific Junction store, were the featured speakers for the club’s Feb. 15 program.

“It takes much more knowledge to be successful in farming today,” Loder said, before launching into a presentation on planting equipment.

Loder explained if two seeds are planted too close together in a field with a traditional seed tube, one will choke out the other in a fight for nutrients and water.
